Drukomvormer
De drukomvormer is een klep in uw auto dat er voor zorgt dat de motor de egr-klep opent om de uitlaatgassen weer naar binnen te sturen. Hierbij maakt deze drukomvormer gebruik van een constante onderdruk. Meestal is een drukomvormer ook verbonden aan een turbolader. Deze geeft nog wel eens een turbodruk af en deze turbodruk is te groot voor de motor om mee te kunnen werken. De drukomvormer zorgt ervoor dat de druk naar een gangbare hoogte wordt omgevormd zodat de motor zijn werk goed kan doen. Een drukomvormer is een onderdeel dat nogal snel kan slijten.
